Advice & Guidance

Southend YMCA exists to help young people to build a future, to belong, contribute and thrive. We ensure that each young person is provided with current and accurate information that will further their independent decision-making.

Each project at Southend YMCA responds to the young person as an individual, providing tailored information, advice and guidance to accurately meet their needs - this could include housing options, signposting to specialist agencies through to further education career decisions. In order to support this we undertake desktop research and refer young people to key agencies in the community which we know are quality assured.
